My son's wanted me to post a picture of myself for the "Then" photo and then a picture of some GUY for the "NOW"  photo. They said this would be sure to grab some people's attention. (I dediced not to.)  After highschool, I attended MC and later transferred to UMCP.  While working my way through college at Sears, I met my husband Tom. I worked in the Boys department (the Husky Section) and sold hundreds of "Tough Skins". Tom worked in the building supplies department and after cleaning the "display tolits" numerous times, (I won't mention why) he followed in my footsteps and went back to college. We married a while after college and have two sons, ages 19 and 15.  They look so much like me....red heads, green eyes and extremely fair skin....other than their height, people ask me if they are adopted. My oldest is currently in college while my 15 year old's only ambition is to live on the beach and surf. I guess somethings never change. Tom and I both work for the same company (but no one seems to notice.)  We both work for a large bank...luckily neither of us works in mortage loans. Tom is a commercial loan officer ( not residential) and I'm an accountant.  We're looking forward to slowing down soon, after our yougest graduates. We still live in the area, but hope to relocate to Annapolis in a few years to be where I spent my summers on a 46 foot wooden bay boat.

I worked for my dad at Sammy's until he sold it in 1997. THAT was hard. It is still a great source of joy for me to remember those days. I did record several records in the early 80's which I am extremely proud of. I didn't pursue the singing as a career but  I am still doing it as a hobby.  I have travelled extensively, hiking all over the country and seeing fabulous places. Got married late-just 5 years ago. Sadly, no children, but I do have the most precious golden retriever that ever lived! I live in Columbia, MD with my husband David and am always thrilled to see old friends. Can't wait!

I have learned so much over the years about the exploitation of animals by the hands of humans, that I became a vegetarian in 1981 and a vegan in 1998.  Saving the lives of innocent, sentient beings is not only a huge part of my life, but it is extremely fulfilling, not to mention the fact that it keeps me healthy and helps save our planet too.
Peace To All Beings!

Where has the time gone. After high school joined the US Air Force to become a firefighter. That lasted 9yrs and 28 days but who's counting.  After doing odd jobs for 18 months needed to get my act together. Joined the Marines and it changed my life. Retired from active duty in Feb '99 and ended up in the suburbs of Dallas, TX.  I have been working for Hitachi Data System going into my 8th year. "And time keeps on ticking". I am looking forward to seeing old friends and friends that are old (lol).

I heard about this reunion from my sister Liz Wheatley-Sieck.  You may not have been aware that we were sisters as she went to great lengths in those days to dis-associate herself from me.  Fortunately we did become friends in adulthood and I plan on attending the reunion with her.  My "Then" photo is the most accurate I could submit since I seldom showed up for classes much less school picture day.  The fact is I didn't actually graduate from Springbrook in 78.  I graduated from North Shore High School in GlenCove New York. I've been married for 21 years, have 3 girls (24,12, and 9) and work with my husband in our Computer Maintenance business. Life is good!

Hello Classmates,
I've been very busy since my high school days.  Having twin boys at such an early age turned out to be both challenging and extremely rewarding!  I watched them follow in my footsteps at Springbrook, and then go on to graduate from the University of Maryland in 1998.  One son is in advertising in Los Angeles, and the other just got married and lives in San Diego.  My love for children led me to my current career path.  I've been a teacher at a daycare facility for the past two decades.  I've been through one marriage that didn't work out and now I'm  in a wonderful relationship that I hope will last a lifetime. I look forward to seeing everyone next weekend at the Hilton.  I'm sure we'll have a good time like back in the old days!
-Beth

In the early years, I played Morticia on a hit TV series.

At my high school reunion, I was amazed at the number of out-of-shape, well frankly, chunky classmates. Hmmmmmm, I thought....Could I somehow make money from this? I eventually built an exercise empire. You've probably seen me on TV. So thanks, you good people of Springbrook High School for your inspiration. I couldn’t have done it without that important wakeup call – just seeing you!
